SPE Aberdeen Section and AREG
PROGRAMME COMING SOON
The SPE Aberdeen Section (SPE Aberdeen) and Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) proudly bring you the first Scottish Energy Futures Conference – focused on deploying the technologies necessary to make the energy transition happen. We recognise that energy transition is a journey over many years – today we need to decarbonise oil and gas production as it still supplies over 80% of global energy needs – but the pace of development of a wide range of technologies means that tomorrows energy systems will look very different. Recognising the urgency of the need to tackle climate change this conference looks at a range of decarbonisation projects that are happening now – and looks to the future to see what technologies might finally deliver the goal of “net zero.
The aim of this event is to share knowledge and advance the industry as we work towards the Energy Transition.
